NAM is an organization unlike any other! After competing in this system for 15 years, I have gained confidence, self-esteem & vital life skills that will set me up for my future. I always feel welcomed and accepted for who I am. I cannot recommend National American Miss enough!

Many of your favorite television and film stars got their start at NAM. Check out these NAM Celebrities and dream about your future, too. By participating in the State Pageant, you could qualify for Nationals where you'll be seen by top acting, talent and modeling agents from around the world.
Breaking into Modeling
From NAM's exciting Top Model Search photo shoot and Runway contests to the Casual Wear Modeling and Photogenic competitions, contestants love to gain experience in front of the camera and on stage in high-energy fashion show-style productions.
Making a Difference
National American Miss titleholders are committed to making a difference in their communities and devote countless hours to volunteering for meaningful causes. National American Miss believes in the importance of serving and 10% of each state finalist's score comes from a community service project.
Growing in Confidence
By participating in National American Miss, you'll develop poise, composure, self-confidence, resilience and valuable communication skills. You'll gain the competitive edge to succeed in school and whatever career you may choose to pursue in the future.
Being a Recording Artist
The optional talent competition gives you an opportunity to shine! And if your talent is in music, you may qualify to compete in the National Music Artist of the Year competition where the winner receives a trip to Los Angeles and a recording session at a Hollywood studio with a Grammy award-winning producer.
A Moment You'll Never Forget
There are so many opportunities for National American Miss State Finalists to be recognized throughout pageant weekend - from the audience applause and hugs and encouragement from family and new friends, to beautiful trophies, ribbons, plaques, cash prizes, roses and sparkling crowns!
